Starbucks is horrible like most of the other coffee places.
For me there is only way to go, espresso and cappuccino or caffelatte for breakfast and that's it.

You asked about types, and most answers you got were for brands.
I like almost ALL types of coffee. Colombian High grow, Costa Rica Tarrazu, Ethiopian Harrar, Java Government Estates, Kenya Thika and the list goes on.
AS far as How I like my coffee prepared...Straight up and Black. Espresso if I can find a shop that can make one that's not bitter or burnt, and a Nice Iced Coffee if the coffee gets too cold or forgotten too long, with REAL Sugar and A good helping of non-dairy creme substitutes (that lactose thing).

Black coffee made from Fair Trade, Organic beans.

Keep in mind that a latte at Starbucks is still 190 calories for a grande (2% milk), and these can really creep up on you after a while.

Drip brewed coffee, meanwhile, has negligible calories, and the organic, fair trade beans exposes the coffee farmer to fewer pesticides and offers significant income to allow them to access education and health care for their entire family. Good for your waistline, good for the farmers, so in my opinion, best type of coffee!
