To quote cookbook author Sarah Kramer, "Saying you don't like tofu is like saying you don't like cake flour." You just have to make sure your tofu is properly prepared. And it will take practice to get a system that works for you.
But you can also eat tempeh, an Indonesian food product made of fermented soybeans. It comes in small cakes nad has a nutty chewy texture. It's good to marinate and grill or to crumble into chilis and stews.
Seitan (a.k.a.) wheat meat is also good. Check out www.vegweb.com for seitan instructions.
There are numerous meat analogues out there, including several types of veggie burgers. I'm a fan of Amy's Texas Burger. You can get veggie sausages and veggie deli slices. Your natural foods store should have a good selection.
There's a lot of fun stuff you can eat--you just have to go find it.

Depending on where you are, there are a lt of meat replacers (not tofu) that are full of protein. Vege burgers, or vegetable burgers (with chicipeas and stuff) and veggie sausages are good, if you shop around and get some healthy ones. I don't know if you like Quorn, but just try different things! And get a cookbook for ideas.

You are going to need more protein than that. Oily fish would be the best, because it's near impossible to find bio available veggie omega three oils, but otherwise a mix of beans and lentils. Baked beans aren't that bad, surprisingly. But learn to cook things like spicy bean tortillas, or bean stew, and so on. You'll need to keep an eye on your iron and B vitamins, so marmite on wholmeal toast, and plenty of dark green veg too.
If you eat a lot of plain carbs like the pasta you'll be hungry and nibbling an hour later

Salads and Pasta are not going to cut it.
Perhaps buy a couple of veggie cook books and enjoy your food.
You'll get bored with salad and pasta and its go no where near enough goodness in it.
