They are in his armpits and around his groin area. The circles are growing bigger and they have a ridge around their edge. It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. It looks like a rash. What is it that he has?
My boyfriend is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat any meat. Today he ate a little piece of fish and I already told him not to do that anymore. However, since he is trying to be vegetarian, that is why I ask this question in this section.

I wouldn't go and directly blame it on a vegetarian diet, unless you know for sure hes not eating healthy.
I know that you can't afford to go see a doctor, but it might be the best move for him. At least get a check-up to see what it is, then hopefully it isn't something too serious and you can work paying off the bill easily. If it's more serious, yes it will be more expensive, but you can take out loans and work it out with the doctor's office.

Since you claim you are in London, anyone is entitled to free NHS here. You don't think people know what you are trying to do here. More fool you. All your stories are made up to get people's reaction. That is so sad.
If you are telling people you haven't got money for the doctor, you probably aren't even in the UK, which is the best news I've learnt in a long long time.

Obviously you aren't in the UK because you don't have to pay to visit a doctor here.
Pharmacists are very good in all the Countries I've visited - call into your nearest Pharmacy (Chemist) and ask if he/she could advise.
I had ringworm, too, many years ago. Caught it just by visiting a poor family and holding their baby.
It took 3 days to get rid of it - have a bath and apply anti-fungal lotion. Easy and quite good fun (my husband painted it on me with a paint brush smelling of turps!)

I would definatly see a doctor the places you describe are common bite areas for ticks. The discription is common among those with Limes desiese. Go see a doctor, better safe than sorry.

It seems to be in places where he sweats more. Maybe heat rash or even (I know it sux) ringworm. That forms in circular patterns. Do an image search and see if it is similar. But really he needs a doctor to check him out.

Oh ashley, stop slipping up like this... you should know that doctor visits are free here in the UK.
Ok here's how you get out of it... say you're visiting relatives in the US. Hopefully no one will notice and your reputation will sparkle as it always has here in the V&V forum.
As for your 'boyfriend'... just put a flea collar on him and make sure he doesn't try to scratch the affected area.

It sounds like it could be ringworm...or Roseacea Piteritis..(spelling?)
Ringworm comes from annimals and Roseacea Pityritis is a virus...it starts in the armpit...google image both of them....see if the pics match up with your Bfs rash.

Tell him to see a doctor straight away, I'm not being alarmist but it could be ringworm and thats bad! Its highly infectious and will need immediate treatment. Even if its something else it doesnt sound good. Tell him see a doctor.

Definatly sounds like ringworm. If that is what it is, then it's nothing to worry about...just a fungus, like athletes foot that goes away really easilly with topical medicine. He isn't in any danger if it is ringworm. Has he used someone elses towel after a shower recently? Or used someone elses blanket? That is how it is transferred. I once got it while staying in a camp in yosemite national park. No biggie.
And for all of those of you who insist on calling Vegans dirty hippies, etc....why do you even bother?? It really isn't cool to be an a$$hole...no matter what the bully's in high school taught you. Don't hate just because you aren't liberated.
