We are all familiar with the cartoon cheese that is yellow and has holes in it. Examples include Edam, Jarlsberg and Leerdammer cheese - but how do the holes get in the cheese and why doesn't all cheese get holes in it?

I buy bags of rice and I do not get to eat it all at once. I have found little bugs in the rice and I have ended up throwing all the rice away. can you wash the rice to get ride of the bugs and would the rice still be good to eat. I just end up throwing a lot away. or is there a better way to store it,

I have been a vegetarian for about two months now, and my mother still has not accepted this. Literally every day, she says something like "You are killing yourself! You know that right?" or "God, you are messing up your body! How am I ever going to send you to college like this? You won't survive!". She has also told me that I am going to die early.

At first she even forced me to eat meat. Some of you may say there is no way she could but trust me, she can... (she did stop this though...)

I have never done anything to provoke this. I do not argue with her.

I want to be a vegan, but she refuses to let me buy soy milk or make my own nut milk. Apparantly "I need my animal protein". According to her and her 'articles' (which she has never shown proof of), there are certain nutrients my body can only use from animal sources. I have calmly tried to show her otherwise, but she won't listen.

I usually listen to her politely or leave the room, but how do you deal with unsupportive parents?

How do you do it ? How much do the plates of food and everything else usually weigh ? How much do you carry at one time?
Concerned from a balance and gravity standpoint. So just wondering about how many pounds it usually is? How can you make sure your going to do it correctly?
