Both my favorites--I like them mixed together. The number 1 selling ice cream in the US is vanilla, but its really up to you-you are the one eating it.

I'm one of the people that prefer both at the same time. I love chocolate, but chocolate ice cream is just so...plain...And it's the same with vanilla. But, mix them both together, and it's total yumminess.
I worked at an ice cream joint a couple summers ago, and I used to make myself a small twist cone every morning before I actually clocked in. Makes a wonderful breakfast. :D

It depends on the quality of the ice cream and the ingredients.
Real vanilla ice cream - made using vanilla pods and cream - is truly delicious. If you can find it, that is.
None of this "plain vanilla" nonsense.
Much the same goes for chocolate.

Having a choice will not help as I love both chocolate and vanilla. This means that I will have a dish with a scoop of vanilla and chocolate, a cherry, thinly sliced almonds and a dolop of whipped cream on top. Enjoy it when you can and thank God for it. Peace and God Bless.

vanilla...and it has to be Chapman's French Vanilla Bean...it is so creamy and not overly sweet like those artificial kinds..not greasy tasting either. If I can't have Chapman's, then I go for Scotsburn Ice cream (locally made and owned), with some Mug Root Beer in it...mmmmm yummy!!
