A few months ago my friend had me try this fruit she said was Chinese, but we're not completely sure it is. It resembled a peach, but wasn't. I had a small piece, but as soon as I put it in my mouth it completely dried out and/or numbed my mouth for a couple minutes. This was not an allergic reaction because the same thing happened to my friend and her family as well. The fruit had basically no taste whatsoever. Any ideas on what this fruit could have been? I want to know more about it. Thanks!

I am trying to plan a birthday outing for my Mom on short notice. Even when I was a child, it didn't matter what kind of raw vegetables I ate, if I ate more than a small amount, they would hurt my tummy. At first it feels like I turn really hungry, then it turns to pain.I took an acid blocker this tonight, and it stopped the hurting. But, I am quite the carnivore, and meat doesn't upset my stomach at all.

One of my friends is eating some of these things (well, was...) and out of curiosity I looked at the nutrition information and .... 26 grams of fat and 100% of your RDA of saturated fat every 3.6 ounces. She threw them away and vowed to never buy them again. Does nobody read labels before they start chowing down?
