I went to lunch with my mom today and got a bowl of the Baked Potato soup with a half of an Italian Combo on Ciabatta bread...along with chips and an iced green tea. SO GOOD! Last time I went I got the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad with a baguette that was very tasty.

What do you get when you go? Anything I should try for next time?

I'm out of flour, sugar, eggs, and can't go to the store tonight.

Here's the thing. I'm going to this camp and leaving on Saturday and I want to eat totally heathly before camp. Its a cheerleading camp and I need to eat foods that will give me energy and hydrate me at the same time. Here's the problem though, any time I eat heathly or mention eating my mom thinks theres something wrong with me. So, what are some heathly hydrating foods and how can I explain I just want to be HEAHTLY to my mom? Please answer both questions if you can. I mostly need food, I can deal with my mom myself but I cant figure out foods on my own. Help, please and thank you!

I am from Germany living 16 years now in the USA. I have heard about stews and stuff like that. And I am a pretty good cook myself. However, when it comes down to things like New Orleans clam and chowder or New Orleans Gombo ( do I spell Gombo right), well what makes it a Gombo? I love compfort food like that in the winter time. Hey, I dont like using my oven, it takes too long and uses up energy especially just to bake 1 potato. But I love baked potatoes. Microwave oven potatoes are horrible, so I was wondering if it's safe just to cook 5 potatoes on Sunday, refrigerate them, and reheat them one by one in the microwave over the week. It would just make my life a lot better if this was possible. Plus, how long should I reheat them for so they retain their flavour and are warm enough?
