it depends on the wine(s). on my last cruise, my wife and i attended a wine tasting event on the ship. there were 5 different wines (3 red and 2 white) as well as 5 different appetizers. we were asked to sip a particular wine and then we discussed the taste. then we were asked to sample a particular appetizer then sip the wine again. the taste of the wine was different. so, there is no easy answer to your question.

Just about any will do, provided you serve a dessert wine with it. I would avoid ice cream however.

A fancy cheese with strawberry/raspberries on top, along with the same syrup if you have a sweet tooth. Then you can add a sprig of mint on top. It's very nice with wine.

i would go with a cheese cake.
or something i had seen at a pampered chef party-
take sheets of philo dough (did i spell that wrong lol)
cut up a 1/2 a ripe banana and lay the slices on the sheet.
drizzle a lil chocolate sauce on the slices and roll it like an eggroll.
baste w/butter on top and bake till golden... drizzle lil more chocolate on top and garnish with toasted peanuts or almonds (crushed)
you can serve warm or room temp
