Here's the thing. I'm going to this camp and leaving on Saturday and I want to eat totally heathly before camp. Its a cheerleading camp and I need to eat foods that will give me energy and hydrate me at the same time. Here's the problem though, any time I eat heathly or mention eating my mom thinks theres something wrong with me. So, what are some heathly hydrating foods and how can I explain I just want to be HEAHTLY to my mom? Please answer both questions if you can. I mostly need food, I can deal with my mom myself but I cant figure out foods on my own. Help, please and thank you!

Raw fruits and vegitables are great for you and to help you eat healthier. For hydration, water is and always will be the perfect source for this, drink at least 8 cups a day, though more is better, just try not to over do it. Keep any refined sugars and products to a minimum because those can weigh down your system, carbs are important so don't cut them out completely, just be aware of the types of carbs you are eating i suggest checking out the new food guide pyramid to see what it is that your body really needs of each food group. The food guide pyramid is a great foundation for eating healthier, no matter what you do it will be work, but in the end it is worth it. Also another tip, write down what you eat so that you can see where your problem areas are.

Heres a good snack--raw carrots and broccoli dipped in ranch dressing. Vegetables and fruit are best for a healthy diet. Stay away from places like McDonalds and Burger King and Taco Bell, too greasy. Some salad dressings arent good either, like Blue Cheese and Ceasar (high fat). Stay away from mayonaise and butter also.

Stop eating non-organic fruits/veggies

eat only organic fruits/veggies

cut out all type of meat

eat greek yoghurt, not american yoghurt

try to eat food made in Europe (espcially Greece, Italy and Spain) and limit all food made in the US (we have the worst FDA)

Carbs! You're going to need them! They are your energy! Eat pastas and bread. Also eat lots of fruit and veggies. Stay away from chocolate!
I don't know why your mom wants you to eat junk. Wierd.
