A hangover is not caused by drinking alcohol - it is caused by drinks that are not distilled. The drink that gives me the most hangovers is red wine, so knowing what drinks give you a hangover is quite important in order to avoid them. For example, good Vodka should cause minimal hangover - you may still wake up somewhat drunk (if you had a lot to drink), but you won't have a hangover.

Next time you drink, drink plenty of water while you are drinking alcohol, and take Tylenol or Aspirin and plenty of water if you wake up with a hangover.

My Best Hangover Cure is to prevent the hangover before it starts. I know not everywhere sells BC Powder. But if you take a BC before you go to sleep (after a night of drinking) it will keep you from getting a major hangover the next morning.

I mix 7UP with orange juice-1/2 of each. Add ice cubes. Hangovers are mostly dehydration. If you drink a big glass of water before bed after drinking, it will help you feel better in the morning.

Drink a lot of water and take a couple of aspirin before bed, eat a banana if you can. The next morning I always drink like a slim fast or something similar as it is loaded with vitamins that your body lost the night before. Keep on drinking the water.
