It does not cause sex alteration. Soy contains chemicals that are similar to estrogen, so if you consume a LOT of soy products, this may cause problems, especially for women because it might interfere with the natural hormone balance.

But if you are worried about it, why not drink Lactaid instead?

A diet high in soy may be bad for infants and young children, and may stunt their sexual growth. After puberty, however, soy is usually fine and is actually an aphrodisiac for women. I've heard that large amounts of soy may cause problems in men though. But if soymilk is pretty much your only source of soy, I wouldn't be too worried. If you are concerned about soy, though, then you may also try rice milk, almond milk, or any other nondairy milks.

I've heard that, too, but it's only if you eat a *lot* of it. Your soy milk is not going to hurt you.

Why would you think that? The phytoestrogens in soy are far less potent than the horomones that are in cow's milk...if anything would make you grow boobs that would.
