Hi, you did not say if it was a all girl party,or boy party or a mix of boys and girls. But, you can pick say the Emmy's have a red carpet, through the house make Hollywood signs using lots of red,gold, silver., You can serve ginger ale in plastic champange classes. You can rent a karaoke machine, have lots of fun. You can also hand out, sun glasses, feather boas, top hats for the boys, hats for the girls...etc etc. Just let your creative juices flow, it will be great.

This sounds so fun! I'd incorporate a red carpet, lots of camera flashing, gaudy sunglasses. Maybe you could develop an "Oscar" for each kid, ("and the Oscar goes to . . . ") then ask him/her to give a short speech at a podium but cut them off with music! Have tabloid newspapers around, maybe make a Hollywood handprint and star craft (what's that walkway with all the stars on the sidewalk???) Instead of streamers, you might use spools of tickets (you can get them at Walmart for $5.) Have fun!

If it is for a girl, you can get a person to do up dos and make up to make them glamorous. Take the pictures of them on a red carpet or with awards (you can order chocolate "Oscars" and give those away). Ask people for old prom or bridesmaid dresses or get scarves and hats and boas to dress them up.

For boys, stage a "Pirates of the Caribbean" scene. Get pirate hats, bandannas and hooks, make swords from cardboard and foil, then make a scene. They can be very creative. Again, you can give them all chocolate Oscars by making up categories (scariest pirate, best fighter, most like Captain Jack...). If you can video tape it and burn them onto DVDs, you can mail them out with thank yous.

for a 12 year old girl, i bet she loves to invite her "famous" or fashionable friends in her night party.. encourage them to dress as hollywood stars then pose and act as one too..

she'll like to be hillary or emma roberts.. or maybe some famous celebs then run a fashion show, then give hollywood prizes..

it should be glamourous and hot..

this only applies if shes a girl.. LOL
