Use either italian sausage or ground beef, or a mixture of both. Mix with an egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, oregano, and any other spices you think will be good. Theres no right or wrong way to do it. Mix well, form into balls, bake at 350 for around 25 min. depending on size of meatballs.

Rachel Ray has this delicious recipe for "Spaghetti and Meatball Stoup" It's thicker than a soup and thinner than a stew. It is really good! It even tells you how to make your own meatballs. If you prefer you can always buy them at the store instead! My family loved this recipe. It's a homerun!
P.S. Make sure that if you make your own meatballs, i caution you to make them small. There's a story behind that, but trust me, you wouldn't dare want to know!
Bon Appetite!

Rachael Ray has a wonderful recipe for meatballs. It's easy to follow. I've even made them with turkey. (I don't usually make the sauce, though it is tasty. I just find jar sauce to be good and cheap and easy.)

As for spaghetti, it's pretty fool-proof. Just follow the recipe on the container.
