I have been a vegetarian since I was twelve. When I started out, I just got tired of eating it because we had the same 5 meals every week, but then for some more ideas I went to peta2.org and ordered one of the vegetarian starter kits, and if you knew what those animals went through, you'd never eat meat again. Animals have feelings, emotions, and nerve endings too, so when they're locked up being ready for slaughter, of course they're scared, and then, get this, they don't use any anesthesia for the animals so they feel the whole thing. Pigs have their snouts cut off, chickens their beaks, and it's just horrible thinking about that. I'm okay with people eating meat, I respect that, but when people don't respect my decisions, that's what makes me mad. I made my decision because it's better for me, the animals, and the environment, but think, in the far future, people are going to be like "It's amazing that in the 20th and part of the 21st century people were still eating meat". And resources are going quickly, so when you use all of the resources you need to kill that cow for the hamburger, or the chicken for those nuggets, just remember it was your decision.

Well, I'm want to start to become a vegetarian- but everyone makes fun of me, but I will become a vegetarian because the way they treat those animales... And eating cows, pigs, chickens, is harming our planet. Do you know what they do to them poor animals, chickens are locked up in small cages. Cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, and given grouth pills, which makes them weeker as they get bigger. When killing chickens, the have to take the feathers off right, well this is how they do it. They stick them in a boiling pot of oil while the animale is STILL ALIVE! They do they same with pigs. And if a mother pig has a one pig over the amount she can handle they are killed.
My friend she says she doen't care about the animales, and i told her, 'Picture your cats in that situation.' And being a vegetarian is also heathy for you... You loose weight,.. Oh god just go to www.peta2.com it will tell you EVERYTHING!

I have nothing against eating meat. I just don't eat it because I don't like the texture or taste. However, I do feel that everyone should eat it in moderation. It was put here for us to eat, sure, but some people will kill a whole cow just for a little of its meat!! I think we should be more conservative with everything. After all, this planet only has so many resources, and then they're gone!

I believe that vegetarianism is good, but I think Vegan is better. Vegetarians only stop eating meat products while vegans stop eating meat, dairy, and eggs. And they also stop wearing fur. I wish I could be a vegan but my parents won't let me now. I beiveve that it's wrong to eat animals because if you really think about it eating animals is like bending down and chowing on your pet dog. It's disgusting. Then if you think about how much the animals are tortured it is just nasty.
I sugest you go to : 'www.meat.org' It is very graphic but it's the whole hearted truth. I suggest you don't watch it if you get sickened easily. But then again you should watch it if you eat meat. There is not much I can say except if you believe in it Good for you, if you don't think about considering it. Everybody join the Peta2.com street team!

It IS healthier - U.S. government studies have shown that. You can actually eat a larger volume of food with the same amount of calories. There is a lowered risk of cancer. I am leaning towards becoming more vegetarian oriented because of this, but not on moral grounds.

I don't really understand vegetarians. I'm personally not a vegetarian because I think that there's nothing wrong with eating meat.

i am a vegetarian, too. i think it's wrong to eat something that had a life and the ability to love. i am a strong animal lover and i think it's cruel to kill something for your own consumption. especially when there is a lot of food out there that can be eaten without hurting anything.
