... and while were on the subject: Have you ever had a gin gimlet? I've heard some recipes call for one part gin to one part lime cordial!??!?!!? That seems like a terrible way to treat gin... how do you like to drink your gin?

Oh... one last thing... without intending to offend anyone, if you don't like to drink alcohol or you don't appreciate gin, I would suggest you try sodding off... this question is directed to those who have a penchant to imbibe gin. Thank you ever so...

who know the cruelties of slaughter houses and know how inhumane they are but choose to eat meat anyway? What do you think about people like that?

I just tried a broiled chicken with parm and lime fennel. However, I need a starch side and a sauce that goes with the lime, parmasean, and fennel flavor for the chicken. I was thinking some type of lime white sauce and just using a linguine pasta. So, if you have ideas, or ways to make some type of hint of lime white sauce, let me know.

Every day I eat the same boring thing for lunch (soup in a thermos and a few slices of bread). Unfortunately, I can't warm up any food at work, so I have to take a packed lunch that I carry around all day.

What can I make for a packed lunch that is delicious and nutricious, and won't go bad without refrigeration?

I made a casserole earlier that has sharp cheddar in it. I was in a hurry when I put it together, and really can't say that I payed a lot of attention. The cheese was dated November anyways! But we ate some of it and then my husband went to get seconds. He likes extra cheese so he got some out of the same pkg to put on top and discovered mold in it! Are we going to get sick? What happens when you eat moldy cheese.

i used this bread pudding recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups milk
3 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 slices white bread, without crust
1 teaspoon cinnamon
dash nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins, optional
PREPARATION:
Heat milk over low heat until hot, but not boiling. In a bowl, combine eggs, sugar, and salt; stir well. Gradually stir about 1/4 of the hot milk to the egg mixture and stir in. Add remaining milk, stirring constantly.
Stir in vanilla.
Place bread slices in a buttered baking dish, (sprinkle raisins over bread, if used), about 2-quart size. Pour the milk mixture over bread. Combine cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over pudding mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 300° for about 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve warm with vanilla sauce or other dessert sauce, if desired.
Serves 6.

when can we eat it after it's out of the oven?

ok i'm 16 and mostly my brother does the cooking. My mom used to do all the cooking but she passed away 2 years ago and my dad is an asshole who doesn't cook or do anything. So my brother is going off to college so I need to learn some quick easy and cheap meals fast so anyone have any suggestions? P.S.-My dad does not give money for food so thankfully I get disablilty checks, but i don't want to spend to much of them because I need to save up for college and a car. So I guess i want to work about 200$ every 3-4 weeks
