Who is your favorite and why? As for me, I am really cheering on Julia. She may not have all the schooling, but the woman has a lot of raw tallent.

I am on the line about Rock. He is tallented, but there is something about him I just don't trust.

I would not want to work with a chef who yells and degrades. Working in a kitchen is stressful enough. I once had to nicely ask a manager not to yell at me in a kitchen because it breaks my concentration and causes me to make mistakes. He was cool and stopped, but just with me.

I think Julia has the leadership skills, it is just the others did not respect her at first. Today's show she did keep the kitchen going by saying..."Come on, let's get this done.." I don't know why people think Rock is such a good leader. I have yet to see him lead. So far, he has just sat back and watched the others fail. How is that being a leader?

I like Julie, too. She has the capability and the desire but just lacks in specific knowledge; which can be learned. I think Rock is more what Ramsey's looking for. I spent ten years as a chef myself before my car accident and it amazes me that these people even qualify to be on the show much less hold jobs as executive chefs and such! Think on it from the owner's point of view... which chef would YOU want to run your resort? I have worked for and with chefs like Ramsey; if you do your job there's not a problem...

I like Julia too. She may not have the culinary background but she asks questions when she doesn't know and she seems to retain what she's taught. I really want to see her step up in the leadership capacity as that is what it will take to run a restaurant. If she can't manage people it won't matter what she knows - or how good her strip steaks are :-).
Rock has a very irritating manner about him... He's seems to have only two emotions - arrogant or angry. I know he is the best cook of the bunch - but I just don't like him.

I tried watching the show but the guy is such a jerk I couldn't get past him. I hope people don't think he has the best way to run a kitchen. A real master doesn't have to be a prig to be respected.

Rock he has the most Raw talent Julia is second but Rock is a leader and has the most Raw talent.
