I am a vegetarian and I have 4 pet chickens and a cow. (well he is a bull that I bought off of a farmer that he was actually going to keep and use for VEAL!!!! Some people are sick and cruel) Anyways I consume the eggs my chickens lay. Like I said though, they are pets. I work construction; therefore I have built them a home (a heated one at that, also, Jake the bull has his own place), I also put a gate around their home for night time so nothing gets in there after them. Besides night, they can roam as they please. I pet them, get them medicine when they are sick, and spend time with them all daily, but like I said, I do consume their eggs. I just want to know what you think of me doing that and why you think that way. Thank you for all of your input, and have a wonderful day!!!!

I'm 22 years old and the primary cook in my home has left. I know it sounds bad but i never learned to cook. I am as kitchen literate as probably a 9 year old.

I live with my dad, my bro and sis me being the youngest. However, no one has taken the initiative to cook so I will.

I'm used to traditional mexican dishes. But i'm pretty much up for anything. Please send your help and be as specific and detailed as possible.
thx guys ym

Is it normal to have more bowel movements being a vegetarian? I have been a vegetarian for about a month and a half now and I was just curious. Sorry if this is inappropriate.

How do you cook your vietnamese spring rolls?

Some recipes say to cook the filling then cool is prior to deep frying, others say to wrap it raw and it will cook in the oil.

I have guests coming on the weekend for a working bee and would like to serve spring rolls as a snack (along with other bits and peices).

I went to the market today and was trying to buy some UNCLE BEN'S Whole Grain Brown Rice when i accidentally picked up UNCLE BEN’S ORIGINAL CONVERTED Brand Rice. Both of the different types of rice are brown, so thats probably why I thought i was picking up the brown rice. Well my question is which rice is healthier?

I reallly like dried papaya. What is the process of doing so? I'm guessing the papaya is cooked lightly in corn syrup first, then dried. Is that right??

I have cookbooks that I have collected since I was a little girl of around 9, so many of my cookbooks span more than 30 years. Just interested in hearing from others about your collection and such. I also collect cookie cutters.
