I have been smoking for about 5 years and am looking for any liqour ideas for pairings with my cigars. Brand names personal drinks let me know. I have my favorites but i am looking to expand my palate.

expiration date for garlic?

I have had garlic cloves in my refrigerator for over a month in a zip lock bag...they seem fine but is there a expiraction date for garlic?

Extra soft Tofu?

Hey, I took everyone's advice on here and decided to pick up some tofu today at the store. I put a little bit of it into a salad and ate it. I have to say, it didn't taste good at all. I was straining to finish it all. I want the vitamins from it and I want to eat it daily but I don't know if I have enough strength to force it down my throat. Is there any way I can make this taste better? Will I get used to the taste eventually?

how to get rid of tuna aftertaste?

I like tuna fish sandwiches, but i have a problem with the aftertaste,it makes me want to gag, therefore making tuna less appealing to me , i would like to keep eating it, i have tried dill, is there anything else i can add?

I heard today that you shouldn't mix watermelon with other fruit?

I heard today from other mothers at our play group that it is not safe to mix watermelons with other fruits because it can cause a toxic reaciton; especially with children? they were saying that it is OK to mix watermelon with other melons but not with say strawberries or pinneapple etc. i have never heard of such a thing and frankly don't believe it. i have always eaten many varieties of fruits and fruit salads and never had a problem. old wives tale or is there validity to this rumor?

Online Recipe Scale-ers?

(if that is even the correct term)
the short of it:
I have a recipe from Nigella Lawson that I want to make for our supper club dinner. It yields only 8 servings, and I have 11 people in our club. So I need some sort of recipe calculator to help me scale the recipe correctly. Anyone know of any (free) online ones like this? I tried at allrecipes.com, but the recipe cannot be submitted because it isn't mine.
