I want to make peanut butter cookies, but i only like them chewy. I tried half baking them, but after they cool, they get crunchy again. Any ideas?

I had this appetizer at an thai-french fusion restaurant. It was fantastic! Thank you all for your help. And I also think the plum sauce may have had ginger in it? And it was not thick or syrupy. I buy rice in the larger size bags. Which is the best place to store uncooked rice so it stays fresh longer and does not attract 'bugs' ? I once stored some uncooked rice in the regular cupboard and some flying type bugs were seen in the rice container. Yuch !

Any suggestions for best storage . . . Fridge, freezer, cupboard . . . ? If uncooked rice is put in the fridge or freezer does that effect the quality of the rice ? Any difference for storing uncooked white or brown rice?

My Aunt & Uncle purchased a very cool wine chiller/ holder while in Ireland. I don't know where I can find one around here. I'll try to describe it... It has a part that hooks under the table and holds onto the edge. It's chrome, has an ice/wine holder attached. It looks like it's hanging magically. I've seen high chairs that hook onto tables like that. But never had I seen a wine/ice bucket. It uses gravity to work in it's favor. The heavier the item inside, the better it holds on. Fascinating invention! I haven't had success finding it on Ebay, probably because I don't know the specific name. Anyone have any information?

don't care who eats what. I answered a question pointing some facts out that were wrong in this persons question, as well as did others. Any person that nicely answered this persons question, but not in the way that was "vegan" was bombarded by thumbs downs. I really don't care personally, but wonder about the cult like response. It was a little scarey in a couple of instances. Is this a religion to them? Just curious.

The question was, 'Does anyone else take issue with this" about cows and chickens and how cows are kept pregnant just so they can be milked. The facts this person gave were so wrong I just copied an article. I pulled mine and shouldn't have but one girl seemed to be almost being stalked by one person.

When I was in Czech, I have this TASTY meal which I believe is chicken breast with garlicy flavor with some cheese sprinkled on top.

I'm tempt to try chops some garlic cloves up and put it in pan with hot oil or melt butter and cook chicken in it. If I do this, will the chicken have garlicy taste or not? If not, how do I get garlicy taste on the chicken breast? I have garlic cloves.
