I'm grilling some steaks and wanted to know a simple marinade I could prepare myself. Any popular ones out there?

Thanks in advance for any replies. (and btw, no alchohol please)

What's wrong with just grilling them plain and enjoying the actual meat flavor of the steak? That on top of the charcoal should make your steak very good!

Good quality beef doesn't need a marinade or sauce on it to mask the flavor of the meat...

Believe it or not salad dressing makes a great marinade. I use Italian salad dressing for all my beef and chicken meals. Then I just add a bit of salt ,pepper and garlic. If you like onions you can add fresh or powdered onion. Very simple and doesn't over power the beef flavor.
