Give it a try. Garlic flavors indeed and, for those who might like it, its fantastic.
You might as well paint the pan by scrubbing a clove while it's still cold as a start.
Once cooked, garlic looses it's intense smell and its all taste.
Get rid of the green thing running inside and to the length of the cloves, always.
I'll be cooking the same in an hour, after y shut up this computer.
But may I advice: garlic easily burns in hot oil.
Mind: do not try to cook chicken with butter, as butter burns easily and thus is no good. Fry it in oil, and put some butter over the cooked side of the chicken, once you turn it over. It melts at once and does the job beautifully. Buon apetitto.
PD: there is a solution I remember. Put garlic in oil for some time, a few days or so. Then use this oil. Mind to keep the bottle very well shut in the process.

Marinate the chicken with diced garlic, and onions in the fridge for a few hours. You don't need but a few drops of liquid with it. Then cook the chicken with the marinated onion, and garlic in the oil. This will taste good, and you will taste the flavor of the garlic. Try sprinkling some Mrs. Dash on the chicken while cooking it for some added flavors. Plus this is salt free.

Garlic is temper-mental. It has to be added last otherwise it will fry or burn in any oil or butter. Also, cheese is to be added last, after the chicken comes off your heat right before serving. Maybe try marinating the raw chicken in some garlic, seasonings and olive oil for a few hours before you put it on heat. When it is almost cooked thru, toss in your garlic. Good luck.

Do not fry garlic as it too easy to burn and will turn bitter.
Use a sharp pointed knife to make pockets in your breasts for a sliver of garlic
Cook in butter and oil. The butter will give a nice colour and taste and the oil will stop the butter burning
This will work well with steak beef lamb pork etc

The garlic cloves should do the trick. I'm no expert, but I watch quite a bit of Rachael Ray, and, as we all know, that chick LOVES garlic. I'd try it out. If it doesn't work out, then oh well. At least you know how NOT to make it. ^_^
Good luck and happy cooking!

That'll work but may I suggest olive oil? That'll soak the flavor up a bit more.
