I ask this for a person whose spouse can't stand the smell of fish cooking in the house even though others love it?

I know the difference between fresh and not so fresh fish. the person can NOT stand the smell of fish fresh or otherwise, asking if there are any fish that don't smell like fish at all. for ex. when I put albacore tuna in tuna salad, most people think because of the chunkiness and the lack of sea scent that it tastes like chicken salad.

relies upon on if fillet or complete and the way it became cooked. Did you purchase it sparkling? became it dated as ideal in the previous ?became it frozen ?how lengthy became it defrosted?Did you over prepare dinner ten minutes in accordance to inch for steaks and complete fish ? Did you employ oil in cooking ? became it a classic / your universal type or if deep frying became it sparkling? some fish like mackerel , monkfish, catfish if executed without coating, spices or lemon will nonetheless have some smell. i could propose if turning you'll see with first style and if canines received't eat truthfully throw it out. besides the indisputable fact that if scent is lengthy gone at the same time as chilled use fish truffles or casseroles and spice it up and luxuriate in

All fish smell.
It is a question of what does the fish smell of. Fresh fish should smell of the sea or water and smell tasty and pleasant as they cook.
I pity your friend's spouse but I also think that if he/she can eat cooked fish the problem is in her/his head and that needs to be addressed.

Any fresh fish should not smell. When you buy it fresh (not frozen) it should smell like lake water, but not fish. Frozen is pretty good because it is frozen literally hours within catch. Ask your fish guy at the market...or better yet, buy only from a reputable fish market.

Yea, like one person said- Tilapia. Definitely a mild tasting/smelling fish (one of my favorites, actually).

Fresh fish should never smell fishy ... whether it's raw or cooked.

Flounder and tilapia (assuming they're fresh) are very mildly scented and mildly flavored.
