ME TOO.. hello, I have always collected cook books I love it , actually a lady at work just gave me the whole Company's Coming set about 40 to 50 books . it was the greatest gift .
and I love death by chocolate. Cookie cutters i started collecting by accident soon I had hundreds. My nieces mostly use them to traces shapes for pictures now, I am working too much to make cookies all the time. I also have hundres of chocolate molds and about 50 specialty cake pans. Nice to know I am not the only one.

I don't just collect cookbooks, I read each and everyone of them. I have some of my grandmother's cookbook and some of my great aunt's cookbooks. So I have some really old books. I love reading them and seeing how cooking even though it has changed over the years has not changed. You know? The technique or the equipment used may have changed but basically recipes are the same. (Or receipts as they use to be called) Well, I take that back, back when..... it was a smidgen of this or a dash of that now recipes are more accurate in the measurements.
Love my cookbooks!!

Cool! I have some of the old pamphlet style cookbooks from 30 or 40 years ago- they're Carnation and Knudsen (dairy products). I also like the fund raising cookbooks from across the country- I've actually found some very good recipes in some of these- just very calorie laden. I started getting into vintage kitchen stuff (mostly from the 40's) a few years ago and have found a LOT of really neat stuff on e-bay. Carnival glass sugar and creamers, salt and pepper shakers, matchboxes, saltboxes, aprons, wood-handled tinsels, etc., etc. It's so much fun, though my husband has asked me where I am going to put any more stuff. I have an old fashioned set of shelves hanging on the wall, and it's about maxed-out. I would LOVE to have room for an old wooden Hoosier.

I collect just about everything baseball related. I have every Topps baseball card from the base sets since 1953 except for a handful of cards from 2009 and 2010 and I only need 36 more from 1952. Altogether I probably have over 200,000 cards. I have autographs of Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Reggie Jackson, Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Thurman Munson, plus many others. I also have the ticket stubs from every game I've been to. My favortie item is probably a 1992 Score Joe DiMaggio autograph I pulled out of a pack. BQ: I was blocked by somebody last year but I don't even remember who. BQ2: I'm an Indians fan so if they win one game I'd be happy.

I collect old cookbooks too! I have my mother's from the 60's, and my grandma's from the 40's and those little booklets from far further back. I scour yard sales for different ones. Sometimes those older cookbooks are the best, and it's so cool to see what people used back then.
I guess I'm just a food and history buff.

I collect cookbooks myself and have way toooooooo many. I also save all my Penzeys spice catalogs and I mean all of them. I think they are going to be worth money and I have no idea why I think that. I also have a vast collection of recipes I have downloaded and printed off. I have them in folders by category.

The cookbooks I like to collect are the locally-complied or in-house ones, like church cookbooks. They have recipes people have used for years and submitted with their name attached. You know it's going to be a good recipe! Of course, you have to know what's meant by some of the ingredients and terms like "one big can of..." or "Karo blue label" or "gas mark V" or "in a hot oven" or other things like that. Once you get those sorted out, the recipes are great.

That's incredible! I collect family recipes passed down for generations. They go back 100 or so years. Of course some are outdated and hard to make but nonetheless are very interesting to read about.

I collect Rolling Pins and have over 75 of them! I started with one that I inherited from an Aunt about 30 years ago when she died, bought another, and so on....They are very hard to display though-I have them placed upright in an old apple crate so the different handles are visable, but, if you guys have ideas....let me know as some of them are real cool.
