I had a fruit in italy that I can't find anywhere else, or even find out the name of it. It was about the size of a small kiwi, bring green rind that you cut through and scoop the pinkish insides out. The taste reminded me of Superopes.

One of our users likes to use a phrase that I think requires some explanation, it go's like this: "Cows give us the gift of milk, butter and cheese, and chickens give us the gift of eggs."

I have a real issue with the word 'gift' here. This is no gift; you steal these things from the animals. I've never head of a cow walking up to a human with a glass of milk and saying in her best English "Here you go, enjoy my milk!" Or a chicken doing anything like that with her eggs. That cow that is giving this 'gift' is sacrificing milk meant for it's calf. She is kept continually pregnant to make sure her milk production does not cease. I'm sorry but I don't see how a non-consenting, enslaved, captive being can give anyone a gift. What do you think?

I just purchased a crockpot ( this one http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l317/Elynsana/439466.jpg ) and I have no idea where the instruction manual is. I think it was thrown out with the box. for the last 3 days all i have been drinking is water and cranberry juice, because i had been having to pee more often then normal. so i am not drinking anymore soda. a friend of mine suggested i might have a UTI and that cranberry juice would help fight it (if that's what i have). but today since about 8:30 this morning and it is now 1:15pm i have been having to go pee about every 30 mins and when i do the urine is Clear! is this a bad or good sign?

We are planning a dinner, dancing night out with some friends.
The plan is to have a couple of glasses of wine with dinner, the switch when we go dancing. Is beer ok to switch to after? How about hard liquor (tequila, rum/coke etc) I know there is some rule of thumb about mixing your liquors (dark vs light), but can't seem to find it.
