I had a fruit in italy that I can't find anywhere else, or even find out the name of it. It was about the size of a small kiwi, bring green rind that you cut through and scoop the pinkish insides out. The taste reminded me of Superopes.

Anyone?

Sounds like a guava. Lychees and pomegranates do not have a green rind.
