You are guaranteed for a 9 hour shift a 1 hour lunch break, and 2 15 minute breaks. If you work an 8.5 hour shift, then it could be 30 minute lunch and 2 10 minute breaks. Sorry I can't cite the source, just from what I know from working here in CA.

When I worked at Walmart, they scheduled us 9 hour shifts. We had one 15 minute break the first 2 hrs we were there, an hour lunch 4 hours after being there and another 15 minute 6 hours after being there. So you would think you would be entitled to at least one more 15 minute break, before you go home.

Just do your job, stop whining and worrying about breaks. Your being paid to perform a function not file a lawsuit because your too lazy to work 4 consecutive hours.
