All my life I've thought that eating rare steak was healthy, now after reading a few articles, I'm starting to see conflicting views....
In one article I read it stated that medium to rare steak isn't healthy to eat. One main reason is because in order for our body to digest meat, it has to let it rot in our stomach. In the case of rare meat, as it rots algae and other bacterium start to feed and grow in our colon. After a while, one starts to get indigestion problems that lead to having to get a colon cleanse.
In a separate instance, I had an older co-worker telling me that it was unhealthy to eat meat all together b/c we humans weren't built originally for it. He told me that while getting his colon cleansed the doctor spotted green brocolli-like structures in the waste. He asked what it was and the doctor told him it was bacteria that grew in his stomach as a result of him eating rare-medium cooked meat.
Now my co-worker is on a mission to turn everyone into a vegetarian
