In Britain in the spring time a live lamb would cost between £30 and £60, summertime £40 to £75 pounds.
This depends on the breeding of the lamb and the quality of the meat.

Not very much at all. I remember my friends grandfather was a farmer and she said it was £3, don't quote me though. It may have been alot less than that. In Europe it is 180 Euros (about £120/$236) for 100 kg of live lambs. I don't know where you are from but you could convert that and work out how much one lamb weighs.

well on monday you could go to welshpool market and buy a ewe or a tup.(they are for mutton)as its a bit early in the year to buy a lamb. but if you are really interested in a lamb you may be able to pick one up for free, if its lost its mum the farmer has to bottle feed it. be cheaper for him cos he don't have the time in lambing season
but around 35£ in the live animal market, that was 2 years ago.

Are you asking about a lovely cuddly little lamb with a fine wooly coat that bounces free in a field & makes children happy to watch?
