You can use corn oil without a problem. But if you want to make it healthier, replace with the same amount of applesauce. You can't tell the difference and it's a lot better for you!!

Use applesauce. Most recipes say you can substitute 3/4 of the oil for applesauce, but I've done full substitutions with it and it comes out fine. Doesn't really alter the flavor either (you'd think it would, but it doesn't). Makes it way healthier (less fat) too!

In the superstore, fruits are usually chosen far too soon. Some are rocks, many are bitter. Some of the fruit and vegetables are generally right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.

Yes. It doen't really make a difference.And, if you use groundnut oil and you will have a more healthier cake
