I am tring to find out what kind of Scotch and Cigar to buy my boyfriend . I prefer a Scotch that has aged at least 12 years or more and has a mild but mellow taste to it. He was in the Navy for 22 years and would really like to know what would be the very best Scotch to get and what type of cigar to go with. Thanks for all your help.

we were suppose to go to bf mother for dinner.. he got drunk to go passed out a 430pm after 630 i a started drinking.. his daughter age 11 called to see if we were coming.. his mom has coustodsy ..i told her not tonite sweet heart...i started by then.. he did not stay sober..why should I...but now i wonder if ..when i know somrthing like that is going down . . should i stay sober.. i could... not sure about him

i have bad sleeping problems and was prescribed ativan. but its not realy strong enough. and i want valium cause iheard it works realy well. but i dont want to sound like an addict to my doctor cause im not. people are so ignorant. the first thing they think of when they hear valium is ADDICT. but im responsible and i need to sleep

When I make dried black beans or black eyed peas, I fry the salt pork first, then add the grease and the chopped fatback to the beans.

Has anyone tried adding the chopped salt pork raw to the beans/peas while they are simmering? I know I won't get the crispy bacon-like texture, but I want to know if I can save a step.

I am NOT looking for recipes, just answers, please.
