I heard that one vitamin was bad for you if you got too much. Which one(s) is it? And what exactly do vitamins do for you? I heard Vitamin A was good for eyesight.

I'm sure if you took a bunch they would be but mostly if your body is getting too much, the body flushes it out through urine.

Yes! Vitamin Toxicity is very dangerous!

Fat-soluble vitamins (A,D,E, & K) are stored in yoru body fat. So you can easily overdo them.

Water-soluble vitamins (B, C, the rest) are used daily, then excess is urinated out. Youc an still overdo it though, before the kidneys can get rid of them.

Vit A is indeed good for the retinas of the eyes.

Vitamins help our bodies use the foods we eat. Vit C. for example, helsp the body absorb iron better. So have some orange juice along w/ that steak! There are lots of other examples. Vitamisn can also trigger enzymes, which aid in utilizing the foods we eat. You can't do w/o vitamins, nor can you do w/ a diet of only vitamins!

Its very true that too much of one vitamin can hurt you. For example, sunburns are when you recieve too much vitamin d from then. Too much vit. c can cause kidney stones, to make it simple, everything can hurt you. All it depends on the amount you take in daily. And it is true that Vit. A is good for your eyes.

yes and no if it takes to much of vites c and d it will go into waste but a,b,e, and k it will be bad to have to much but if you don't overdose on then but got more than needed it will reserve for later but it you take vitamins pills that have iron never take more than the required amount it could kill you and A helps skin and vison in carrots potato's and spinach. B there are many B 1-12 to be exact they are the compound group (they do many things.) C help heal and helps resist infections but if get over 100% like 300% then 200% will go to waste cant keep in body. in orange juices, citrus, kiwi, and strawberry. d helps bone repair (in fish) e is for hepls skin heal in lotions. k helps blood cloting without you could bleed to death from a cut
