I do this to taste, but I'll try to guess on measurements. This is our family's favorite, and it's easy to tweak if you like different veggies than this recipe. 8 oz. short pasta (rotini, penne, seashells; whatever you like) 1/2 cup Italian Dressing (I use Wishbone) 1/2 cup mayo (I use Hellmans, but again, its your choice) 1 half cucumber, peeled, seeded, and chopped 1 half pint cherry tomatoes, halved 1/4 of a package baby carrots, shredded 1 or 2 scallions, thinly sliced ( I just cut them with kitchen shears) A couple of turns on the pepper grinder Just boil water for the pasta. Make sure you salt the water when it starts to boil. Cook the pasta for at least 8 minutes, but if you like your pasta softer in a pasta salad, keep checking it for a couple more minutes. Then just add all the remaining ingredients, taste, add anything you feel it needs more of, stir, and serve! It is very good served room temperature or cold right out of the refrigerator.

Chicken Pasta Salad

2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
3/4 cup steak sauce
1 (12 ounce) package fusilli pasta
2 cubes chicken bouillon
1 Vidalia onion, diced
2 avocados - peeled, pitted and diced
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 cup Ranch-style salad dressing
DIRECTIONS
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. Place breasts into a glass baking dish and marinate in steak sauce for 15 to 60 minutes.
Grill chicken until no longer pink and the juices run clear. Remove from grill, and chop into bite-size pieces.
To a large pot of boiling water, add bouillon cubes and pasta. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain, and rinse under cold water.
In a large bowl, combine chicken, pasta, onion, avocados and tomatoes. Mix in salad dressing, cover, and refrigerate until chilled.

This is a killer recipe, and every time I take it anywhere, I end up with none left over. My work mates always want me to make it to.

1 box tri colored rotini (the twisty kind), cooked and drained but not rinsed
1 bag broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, cleaned and chopped
1 bottle italian dressing

Add the veggies to the noodles and add as much dressing as you like.

NOW, for a twist, you could also so use

1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 can sliced black olives, drined not rinsed
1 can artichokes, drained not rinsed and chopped
capers
1 green and red pepper, chopped small
italian dressing, as much as you need

Have fun and good luck!

cook your noodles, keep firm. take a half of a good size bell pepper (chopped) and broccolli cuts (frozen) and boil until just done. drain in cold water. Mix noodles, broccolli and peppers together, add italian dressing, shredded cheddar and parmesean cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. chill, always better the next day.

Also can use long spaghetti, chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumbers (excluding seedy part) green peppers, mix together with italian dressing, salt and pepper...light and cool for hot days

Cooked drained pasta
1 can drained green peas
1 can mushroom slices
1 pkg sliced pepperoni (cut in half)
1 1/2 bottles creamy italian dressing
1 can drained chopped tomatoes

Mix all ingredients. It will taste better if you mix it the day before you need it. Serve cold.

Heat olive oil in pan. Add crushed garlic, chopped fresh basil and cherry tomatoes and sautee lightly. Add black or green olives and your pasta. Toss so oil coats everything. Transfer to dish and sprinkle with parmesan. You can also add freshed cubed mozzerela. Yummy hot or cold....
