Replace your lightbulbs w/ black or other color bulbs. Remove the tv from the main room(s) to remove the temptation of guests to sit & veg, thus ruining your party. Have a signature drink, a special martini perhaps so you can limit the variety of beverages you'll have cluttering up your space, a clear beverage is always safer for carpets and furniture especially if it could get crowded.

Rent a huge tv for the game (super bowl coming up) get a keg or two kegs of beer put plastic covers (tarps) over everything and buy some cheap sheets so you can have a toga party. P-A-R-T-Y hard dude. otherwise don't even bother to invite me. Oh yeh, need lots of snack food like zingers, little debbies, chips and more chips and dips and if you can afford it buffalo wings when teh game starts.

Don't know the age group.Make up dips and chips,sandwiches,salad,baked beans,sodas on ice,tea and have a variety of cookies,brownies,and sliced fruit.Make it fun use a variety of music and see how the guest react to different ones, see who can dance to what type....Happy Dancing......
