Here's a real question I have for vegetarians/vegans:
Why bother with fake meats? I mean really, tofurkey and stuff is expensive and (I think) not very good. There are MUCH tastier things you can eat that are vegetarian - why go through the expense and effort of eating something designed to mimic something that you feel you shouldn't eat? If you think it's wrong to eat turkey, why do you want to eat fake turkey? I would personally rather eat a veggie stir fry or a nice salad or something.
I bet at least 50% of people misread the question and answer something like "because we believe eating meat is wrong..." etc.

I need serious help, it seems like everytime i try to cook eggs i always end up scorching them, i just don't understand what i am doing wrong because they start out right and end up in a mess!! Aren't eggs supposed to be the easiest thing to cook??? HELP=)

I was sitting across from a coworker one day as we both ate steak. Mine was well done almost burnt. Hers was kinda brown on the outside and completely raw on the inside. Everytime she cut into it blood oozed out of the meat. She even used the nasty blood to sop up with the meat. Why do people like eating meat that is raw and bloody?? What is good about that??

I got a bottle of Moet What Star as an X-mas gift from a friend. I chilled it in anticipation of NYE. 2 days ago on the big night the same friend brought over a bottle of Dom, thereby eliminating the need to open the bottle of Moet in the fridge. Since NYE is over I don't see any reason to open the Moet at least until Valentines day, but its taking up room in my fridge!

Not being a big champagne connoisseur my question is THIS: The bottle was room temp when I got it, now its been chilled. If I take it out of the fridge now and allow it to go back to room temp, will it go "bad" ? I am in Massachusetts, and this year its been warm, days hovering around 50 degrees, evenings being very cool... but I could keep the bottle in the garage which is cooler than house temp but warmer than fridge. Or should I just learn to live with less fridge space, or better yet find an excuse for hubby and me to drink the bottle before Feb 14? Thanks in advance for your help!

Anyone have any recipes for an easy lunch. I find that I can make dinners but for some reason lunch is a challenge. I don't want to make a two hour lunch and I have 5 children to cook for, when there is no school. I can't even seem to grocery shop well to accommodate lunch!
