I work in a restaurant in Georgia and I was promised that when I turned 18 I could start waitressing (which would include serving alchohol) but now I'm told that I have to be 21.
I remember looking it up in the Georgia Law Code online, but now I can't remember how I got to that page of the website!!

It is my understanding (I'm not vegan or vegetrian) that vegans do not consume any animal byproducts because of the inhumane treatment of the animals. If I am incorrect, please say so. However, if you knew, for certain, that a certain brand of these products (like milk/cheese) only used things (say, milk) obtained from humanely treated animals, would you consume them?

Don't worry this question isn't as racist as it might look.

I remember my gran telling me something totally crazy once..

She said that the first time she ever saw a black person was when she was in Germany before the second world war. Along with the elephants, giraffes etc were several families of black people that lived in the zoo in huts as an exhibit. At the time she thought nothing of it because she was young and living in nazis Germany (she was half Jewish and escaped to Britain before the war).

Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this before?
