we have mushrooms in small plastic containers with holes which are covered with glad wrap. what is the best way to store these for two days for freshness?

i need a quick and easy recipe for a pastry or desert. the 'big time' ingredients i have that would go in or on the pastry would:
flour
sugar
powder sugar
baking powder
vannila
salt
eggs
milk
veggie cooking oil
sprinkles
ginger
cinnamon



if theres more i can find a substitute or find some of it in the ol'pantry. please make it sweet!

I was in New York last year and bought some altoids sour apple gum. (I live in England) where sour gum isn't available. Does anyone out there know of anything sourer? Also how I can get hold of some. Thanks

I want to buy some cheese which I am going to shred to put in a stuffed mushroom recipe. Since it's pretty expensive and I don't want to waste money, how much of a block of cheese should I buy to make two cups shredded? It has a cheddar-like texture, if that helps.

it is just my fiance and our kids an i tommorrow and my kids hate turkey...i figure thanksgiving is a day to have a meal you like so for the kids i am making chicken nuggets and i think cornich hens would be a good alternitive to turkey for us adults...
i alos dont know how to cook them (seasoning and what not....)
