Does anyone know any easy chilli recipes using a crock pot?

I'm new to cooking & I love fried rice Chinese style, I have tried so many times to cook this dish, some how I end up with a porridge like mix! It never tastes like the authentic Chinese I buy from the take away. (When I can afford it.)

I've always heard that Stanless steal and copper are the best to cook with. They don't have the conventional non-stick coating that normal cookware has. So this is a two part question. The biggest one being is the Stanless steal non-stick, do they perform like their coated counterparts. And Two does cooking with stanless steal/copper pots & pans really make a difference. Only serious answers please. I ask this questions b/c I've never used them and I'm thinking about asking for a quality/top of the line/ set for xmas. Thanks for your time.

I want to try to stay away from the usual, like peanut butter cookies, peanut butter pie....
Any candy, cookie, pie, or cake made with peanuts, peanut butter, peanut oil is acceptable.

I bring the cold what to a boil with the eggs in it, and then cover them and let them sit for about 20 mins. Then rinse with cold water until they are cool. Sometimes they peel just fine and other times they break up and the shell just won't come off. Any ideas on this problem would be appreciated.

My lovely old percolator went to the big coffee shop in the sky this year...I've been trying to make my iced tea simply by boiling water in a pot on the stove, but I'm getting something wrong somewhere because it tastes absolutely blah. I'm trying to fill a 2.5 quart pitcher, which I usually fill with ice before I dump the tea in, so I try and make the tea strong--actually very strong, because I prefer it strong and I don't sweeten it. Any ideas on proportions of water/tea bags/ice to use? Should I not be boiling it?

Im trying to decide between a keg and just a load of cans for my next party. By my calculations the keg is just as expensive, if not a little more, than a whole bunch of 30-packs. Can anyone tell me why a keg is a good idea? Am I just getting screwed on price here?
