I think it's a tosser. 3 years past the expiration date is a bit much
if it was a few days or so I would say ok but 3 years absolutely not

RE:
Can you use expired Chicken broth?
I have a can of Chicken broth in the pantry that is unopened. The date on the bottom says 2003. Is it still good to use?

I think that means it expired in 2003 - it would be a good idea not to use it.

It probably won't kill you, but I'd pitch it just the same. If it expired in 2003, it was probably canned in 1998. That's OLD!

even a month expired is gross but 3 years, not a good idea. You could get really sick.

it's pretty old, but I always check to see if the can is swollen. That is not a good sign!!! It means germs are brewing. Open it & give it a taste.

It's always better to be safe than sorry.
Three years is too old.

The expiry date means the food will be not useable after this date.so it better to use before the expiry date otherwise it will be problem for health

Yes--it is not going to hurt you. It may not be quite as flavorable or dissovle as well.
