Drink a GOOD vodka. Cheap Vodka is unbearable. But to make it better, mix with a juice, such as cranberry, or orange. SKYY vodka is a smooth vodka that is reasonably priced. Happy Hunting

I mix mine with either cranberry juice cocktail or pure cranberry juice and diet 7-up. I hate it with orange juice. It makes it taste like drinking stale OJ that's been sitting in the fridge for two weeks. You could try a White Russian ~ Kahlua (not the cheap stuff), vodka and half & half or cream. The more expensive vodka is smoother than the cheap stuff.

First, wait until you're old enough to drink legally.

Second, it is good with cranberry juice. The tartness of the juice compliments the stark taste of the vodka.

Third, buy a good vodka and try it with sweetened lime juice. It's called a Gimlet and is definitely an acquired taste, but one worth acquiring.

Haven't been able to...because?

If it makes you sick, find something that doesn't treat you so badly. There are a lot of types of alcohol out there.

If you just don't like it, that's different.

Vodka mixes with just about anything. Try white russians, or Vodka and tonics, or mixing it with juice and maybe some ginger ale. It makes really good punch. I prefer rum for punch though...

Buy a good vodka, not a cheap vodka!! SUCH AS Smirnoff's Vanilla Vodka..mmmm so good! Good for mixed drinks, and excellent mixed with vanilla pepsi or a&w sparkling vanilla cream soda!!
Trust me, when it comes to vodka, you get what you pay for. I could drink Smirnoff's Vanilla Vodka straight if I wanted to.

If you want to go strait. Put a little salt on your toungue before shooting it. Then Take it in one gulp and Hold your breathe. Take a really hard bread (like a rye or pumpernickle) and Breath throught your nose into the bread. When you breath in keep the bread at your nose. This will take the byte out of the Vodka.

Usually to help you may want to eat lots of Salty type foods before and after. Makes it a lot easier as well

Yeh- don't be afraid to spend over $30 for a bottle of good vodka, such as Levels, Kettel One, Three Olives. You get what you pay for.
