This is a good Meat and Cheese Dip that I have always found a success at a party. You make it in the crock pot.
1 lb. sausage
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 lbs. Velvetta
2 cans Rotel tomatoes
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
Brown the sausage and hamburger in a skillet.
In a crock pot (or double boiler)
Melt the cheese.
Add Rotel Tomatoes and soup.
After the Cheese mixture is melted, add the sausage and hamburger.
Set the temp. on low and let it sit until you are ready to serve it.

There are a ton of ideas out there this time of year. Just look up Halloween treats on the web and you'll have lots to choose from.

1.Some quick ideas....deviled eggs with gummy worms around or coming out of the eggs..
2.brownie bites covered in white melted chocolate decorated with red gel to make it look like eye balls...(I did this and it was truly cool and gruesome--and yummy)
3.grape koolade mixed with sprite and a frozen 'hand' floating in the bowl, which is just water in a plastic glove that has been frozen and then pulled out of the glove and dropped into the punch just before serving.
4. Another easy idea is purchased peanut butter cookies the ones that I think are called 'Butter nutter' cookies, dipped in melted white choco so they look like 'ghosts' and a couple of mini choco chips for the eyes, or decorate with icing for eyes and a mouth!
Just a couple of ideas for ya.

Put something in the crockpot earlier in the day, buy some meat and cheese and veggie trays, shrimp tray, and get a loaf of French bread and dipping sauce.

I'd normally say make something yourself, but your time is going to be taken up with the concert. As long as you've got munchies, nobody's going to mind what it is.

You can have orange and black cupcakes, and if you want to get really schnazzy, you can draw jack o lanterns of the opposite colors of them. Have some "mystery punch", with some gummy worms in it. For dinner, just have something simple like pizza-everyone likes pizza =)

Google "halloween party treats" for much more!
