things have always been like this but i just think it me.i do alot for him(gifts,parties,cleaning,backrubs ect.)and allways have but i have to wonder if he even thinks about me when i'm not right in front of his face.for example he "forgot" to get my anything for valintines day,not even a card.said he just did not get around to it yet well 3 weeks later he still has not.if i don't remind him my b-day is comming up he would forget that to,i have to plan my own party if i want one.i don't expect expensive gifts but a card would be nice. he knows how i feel when he forgets these things but he acts like he just does not care.

I cant go to my gf Hens nite but iam goinging to the wedding. I have see these signs out at other hens nite about "kiss the bride its the last time" etc etc. SO iam making a badge about 10 by 5cm long. but cant think of the excat thing to say. shes gota sense of humour and iam goinging to write in the card if she doesnt want to wear it ok! thanks for helping.

My friend is getting married in the fall on the beach and she is going to have white dresses with black flowers on it. The guys will have white shirts and tan shorts or black. I know it is her wedding So I wont say anything to her but does anyone think that black is odd for the beach?or is it just me

Alright, so if you read my previous post then you know I am engadged. NOW WHAT?! Neither of us know the wedding lingo or how it all goes down. (minus the walking down the aisle part) thats all I know! I know there should be an engadgment party, but then what? Who pays for what? Is there someone or maybe a site who can explpain it all in DETAIL??? When do you go on a honeymoon and where do you go? How long? I hate planes and want to stay in the US. Plus we both work...help?

we both work full time and split all the bills equal 50/50.we live in a condo complex that does all the "outdoor work" for us(mowing,repairs ect)plus they will fix anything that goes wrong inside too.my bf would never think to wash his own clothes and will complain when something he wants is dirty rather than just wash it himself.trying to get him to help get groceries will almost allways end in a fight.on the weekend he gets to go play golf,play with his son ect as our complex does all the "mens work".yes i have tryed to ask for help but he allways has an excuse i'm tired,i'll do it later,ect and it never gets done.what can i do i feel like i spend all my free time cleaning up after both of us.

I've been with my fiancee for almost 2 years now, but as the wedding draws nearer and things are starting to be organised, I'm realising that my feelings have changed and I don't want this anymore. I'm desperate not to her hurt her, but I need some advice on this. Any suggestions?

I am planning my wedding this july and i really want calla lilies as the flower, but i heard that they go dorman shortly after easter. My wedding is July 7th, will i be able to get Calla Lilies.

I know i'm running kinda late on this, but i've been engaged for 6 months now and we finally decided on a flower, i'd hate to think we have to rethink it all.

How many months before your wedding is it appropriate to send out invitations? Does it make a difference if the majority of guests are far out of town?

I won't have any family there, but my fiance has said he will be my family from now on...

I just wish I had family there, that's all, I guess.

My aunt has been a story teller since before I was born. She starts lies to get attention and make the family crazy and fight. And before I was born she went around saying my grandfather (her father) raped her. Which I do not believe (because according to her-she was raped by her brother her grandfather and father and my father raped me). But this is my mothers sister and my mother is unable to forgive her or let go of the fact that her sister has made up these lies about her dad and my father and its eating my mother alive because now my grandfather is dieing of alzheimers disease and my aunt will not tell the family she lied. Now that my grandfather is dieing my aunt says she can't remember who raped her. And my mom crys almost every night wanting her sister to clear her dads name and my aunt won't do it. How do I help my mom??

My fiancee wants to wear a camoflauge vest and tie. I agreed because it's the only thing he wants. Now, I have NO IDEA what colors to pick! I really wanted pink flowers. But I dont know what color my girls should wear. I don't want just neutral colors in my wedding because that would be too boring! HELP!!

My best friend and her fiancee are getting married this fall, after 10 years of being together, they own 2 houses and their own business, obviously they don't need a toaster or dishes. They live in Florida, but are from Massachusetts and are getting married and having everything wedding involved done in MA, so obviously this is a costly event. We are having a shower for the 2 of them, not just a bridal shower, a Hawiaiian luau. Is it still proper to call it a Greenback shower, so they get money and not gifts? If not what is the appropriate name for this sort of thing these days?

I do not get a long with my sister. When I was married I didn't want her in my wedding party but obliged after my mom cried about it and said I was tearing apart the family. At my wedding my sister stormed off, called me a B&%h, and made a scene. Now she is getting married and wants me in the wedding party. We've not talked in years, I have nothing to do with her, she has already eloped and divorced once, has a kid, and lives with her new boyfriend. To top it off, she didn't even have the balls to ask me in person or over the phone, to be in her wedding party. Instead she sent some half-assed email. When I didn't respond within 3 days she emailed again and said she needs to know now, otherwise she is going to ask someone else. How do I graciously say no and keep peace in my family?
