My wedding will be May 18, 2008. Is it too early to buy a wedding dress? I don't generally fluctuate in weight unless I get sick in which case I usually gain it all back. If not, which dress do you think looks the best on me? The halter one would need taken in by the bust and the halter strap would need to be smaller. Also, I don't mind if you comment on how big I look in each dress; I know I am not a twig by any means, but I also don't want to look like a beached whale on my wedding day! I hope these links work, but if notl, then I will keep an eye on here to see the comments and I'll fix it-so please check back.

My boyfriend never has directly said "i want to marry you someday" but Ever since I first meet him has said things that lead me to think that he no doubt is planning on marrying me someday. He has said things such as " I would get you such a nice ring," "we should get married at a place like such and such..." and even jokes about songs to play at our wedding reception! Of course, we both know that we wouldn't want to marry anyone untill we could support a family, but what do you think he's thinking??

The county clerk told us to return completed license & they would give me paperwork then to be able to start the name change process. She said this was usually much quicker & easier. Our preacher insisted on mailing it in. I plan to call the county clerk office about this, but obviously it's the weekend so I can't until tomorrow. How long did it take to recieve a copy of your marriage license? Even if it was mailed, do I need to go to the clerks office or can I to be able to speed the process up?

Also, I had planned on taking his last name & moving my maiden name as my middle name. When do I do this? Most things I found online said that I'd be asked when I got my marriage license but I wasn't. There was also no where on the license to fill in what my married name would be. Did anyone ask what your married name would be? If so, when did they?

I'm writing an article and need statistics, I need to know which one dates outside their race more and by how much. It doesn't just mean white/black relationships but white/Asian, White/Hispanic, White/Muxed, White/Native American, relationships also. I asked before and didn't get the answers I wanted, everyone asked why it was important or just gave their opinion which is what I don't want. I just need the answer from a valid source.

Needless to say, our feelings are very hurt. The issue that is even more painful is that my sister, who is 3 years older than me, was married only 5 months ago and had a total of 6 showers, 2 of which were hosted by our mother. Top that off with the fact that she is also my matron of honor. How should I address this issue? Please help!

It was two friends birthdays in the same night.& I was with one since 7.30pm so I stayed in the pub with them. I told my friend to meet us there she wanted to go to a different pub but I said no as I didn't want to offend 13 people I was with since 7.30pm. My friend got thick & rang me at work the next day to say I didn't know how to be a friend after 14 years. I'm hurt I didn't need if after the break up with my fiancee & I had made her bridesmaid when we first got engaged. Am I a fool?

My mom and I want to go a couple weeks before the wedding to get our hair and make-up done, just to kinda see how its going to look. I have heard of many brides doing this. My question is...what do I do after the hair and make up is done? I will have my tiara and veil on.....do I just take my hair down and take the make-up off? I feel as though that would be a waste of money. All you brides out there that have done this, let me know please~
