My boyfriend never has directly said "i want to marry you someday" but Ever since I first meet him has said things that lead me to think that he no doubt is planning on marrying me someday. He has said things such as " I would get you such a nice ring," "we should get married at a place like such and such..." and even jokes about songs to play at our wedding reception! Of course, we both know that we wouldn't want to marry anyone untill we could support a family, but what do you think he's thinking??

It sounds like your bf imagines you as part of his future.You yourself admit you are not ready to marry. He may feel the same way right now. A healthy relationship is one in which you can talk about anything. Why not ask your bf what he is feeling if the questions is a nagging one?

It sound like it. My boyfriend and I talk and joke about it, and yes, someday we are going to get married.
And it sounds mature to wait until you've got enough money to support a family. There's nothing like having to worry about money all the time, wondering if you can make ends meet.

He's just probably trying to keep you quiet, to keep you around for the "someday" you are thinking about and hoping for.
