My friend had seen them somewhere once before but we are having trouble trying to find them now. We have found all the ones that say he loves me and she loves me, just married and all kinds of others but she really wants the ones that say bride and groom on the bottom. Any websites that you know of?

I'm looking for suggestions for the first song after the bride/groom, father/daughter, etc. dance. Something that will appeal to all ages and will make them want to dance? What song makes you want to get up and dance? Your suggestions are appreciated! Thanks! :) *We're not having a DJ we're going with music from a laptop.

My son recently married - he and his wife have been together for 10 years since they were 16. Things should not have changed but since the wedding I feel as though I have "lost" my son. I would like to hear comments from anybody else who could explain why I am feeling this - I know its ridiculous but I just can't shake it off. Thanks.

I’m looking for some help. My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 5 years now. We’ve talked about getting married but it seems that the biggest problem we are going to have is making everyone happy (I know, impossible). His family is very religious, and I (and my family) are not (note: I have not been baptised). I’ve always wanted to get married outside and have a small, short, non-religious ceremony. His family, wants a catholic wedding, in a church. He wants his family to be happy. He is a non-practicing catholic (only goes on major holidays when his family requests his attendance)and I didn’t think it would be an issue to have a non-religious ceremony. However, now his family has made it one.
Converting to Catholicism is not an option as it is not something that I want.
Anyone have any ideas on compromises? I’ve read a lot and most places say that most catholic priests will not do outside weddings. Is this true? Do you have any other ideas? I certainly need help

We are only inviting our parents and siblings to the beach for our wedding. Is it ok to have a reception at a restaraunt about a few months after the wedding or do you think people will be upset that they weren't invited to the wedding? We just want it personal and private but I still want to celebrate with friends.

At my reception I want to serve tea, soda, and lemonade w/ a cheese ball and then after dinner there will be an open bar. People act like this is a major letdown like they can handle not having alcohol! My parents do own a liquor store and I understand the expectation but still. I don't feel that people should be getting drunk before I even get there....opinions please!?!

Do officiants tend to stay for the receptions if they are not connected to the bride and groom in any way other than they were hired to officiate at the ceremony and chances are you will never see them again? Should they be given an official invitation?

I have already paid for a sound man at the church and I intend to play 2 songs on a CD during the ceremony. Should I pay an extra $50 just to have a woman play the prelude music or will other CD's be fine? Please let me know your opinion.

Well what I was wondering is if you guys could help me find a place thats cheap to have one...we have about 25-30 guests at our wedding (its close friends and family only)
I wanted to go to a Buffet place, but i was wondering if that was too tacky. Any ideas would be great! We are looking to spend up to $800 if not $1000. I have never been married before or been to any weddings so i dont have a clue as to what to do. I know the reception is where you make the toast serve the cake and eat, just basically a big party. If im missing anything please let me know
Thank you very much for your time!!!

I am a cretified wedding planner and just finished a course on the history of wedding dresses and white does not symbolize virginity.

It is the veil that symbolizes virginity. So historically if a woman was getting married and was not a virgin then she should only wear a "Blusher Veil" (which is a half veil). But a virgin should be wearing a full veil.

The white wedding dress was actually popularized by Queen Victoria. She fell in love with a white gown and wore it to her wedding. Before that wedding dresses were acutally normally blue.

So the white wedding dress was a fad introduced by Queen Victoria and has noting to do with virginity.

Just thought I'd share my new found knowledge.

I am a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding, but still have to send an acceptance, I think. My other sister wrote WE WOULD LOVE TO COME on separate pieces of paper and her, her partner and children held them up for a photo - I want an original idea like this! Can anybody think of anything? If not, just some nice ideas for what to write in a card would be good. Thanks!

My step daughter is getting married in Fall 2008. She was thinking of having Candy Apples as her wedding favors until a couple of people at her work said they didn't think it was a good idea. Personally, I think the idea is fun, unique, season appropriate and reflective of their personalities. However, the bottom line is they want something which will be well received by the guests. What do you all think. Yes or no on the candy apple idea?

How would you define the purpose of a wedding? Is it solely to celebrate the union of the bride and groom with their family and friends? Or should they also reflect the gathering of those who are close to the couple and their parents?

Should a wedding cater to bringing family first and foremost? Celebrating with those who are blood-related and important to more than just the bride and groom? Or should the guest list be restricted to only those the couple want there?

Why am I a big time pervert??? I sometimes think of sexual fantasies at school. I jerk myself off (watch porn / hentai), I don't have a girlfriend yet. The main problem is that I talk to new people but they seem to be not interested in being friends (my pervert side somewhat come out at school, only mentally. try to catch a glimpse of TlTs, students didn't see my b0ner) I have great interest in making friends but people don't want to. When I talk to my friends online, i sometimes joke about pervert things also. When my friend asked me what should he get for his girlfriend's birthday, i replied "a dild0? just kidding, okay, i will be serious for once, t-shirt." I am 19 years old and never had a girlfriend before. When I was a lot younger, I wasnt even a pervert. I want to revert to my innocent self again but me getting turned on feel so good. I need help killing my perverted self and returning to the sweet innocent self. It's a curse to me. I need help removing my curse of being horny.
