Please add details. As an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I would answer your question, "Accordingly as to your faith." From there, you could interview several depending on the type of wedding you desire. I'm a strong advocate for pre-marital counseling, so a good counselor could direct you.

BTW- Congrats!!!!!!

Make sure they are available for your date! If a rehearsal is required will they conduct it? Do they use a contract? If so, make sure it is explained to you & that you understand it before signing.
You need to see if you like this person. Do you think you can work together? Do they have a kind demeanor? Will they let you have input or write your own vows, if that's what you want?
Make sure they are legal. If they get their nose bent out of shape because of this question, find someone else. I carry a copy of my State's license with me. (in Ohio you must be licensed as well as ordained)

To find an officiant type into Yahoo your city, state & wedding officiant (no 's' on the end) You will have a few to choose from, usually on the 2nd page. The larger bridal sites seem to get top billing. If you do go to the bridal sites, please visit the site of someone you think you might like. Those bridal sites make vendors & officiants pay for your contact info so you may not hear back from someone you'd hoped.

If you're anywhere near Cincinnati, give me a shout.

The most important questions would be how much experience do they have, what can they offer, how much do they charge, etc. Also note that if you are using an officiant, you have a lot of say on how the ceremony should take place - things you don't want said, etc.. just make sure that you write down all of your concerns and questions before speaking to him/her.
