my boyfriends brother has a gf that everyone in the family hates,,,yesterday out of the blue she asked me to be one of her bridesmaids...i didnt even know they were getting married, my bf will not even agree to go the wedding because this girl has caused nothing but drama since she met his family, we are not even friends , i said yes because i was so shocked that she even asked me, now i regret saying yes,,,i dont know what to do...advice please!!!

I don't know if its a sign telling me not to get married, because i am ready or am i just going thru a mini-case of cold feet??? Here's the scoop me and my fiance have been together for awhile...then i broke up with him back in November. Then after new years we made up (he brought up marriage).....im always thinking that he might back out on me...yes i love him and he loves me but i cant get these creepy thoughts out of my head....and he always says he's not leaving me...but i cant help but feel nervous because u see so many people breaking up....it nerve-wracking!! mature advice need only apply thanx!!!!

Unfortunately, I did not have the greatest relationship with my father growing up. A lot of the traditional songs don't apply to my father and I. I could use all the help in finding a more appropriate song for us to dance to. We have an OK relationship now, again, just OK.

hi Friends,
I have engaged with a girl before 8 months.
At first meet, i didnt liked her,lookwise and due to her personality.i had also told her.She was well educated same like me and her nature is also very good so i agreed to do engagement by thinking that personality can be change by little efforts.Another thing was we cant find such educated girls in our community.Later She had tried to change her personality but she cant do as i have ever desired for my wife. Now within this 8 months she started to love me and i am at the same place with the thought that i havent found my dream life partner. Now day by day my behavior toward her is being worst.She is tolerating all this but she also seeks me to love her.How can i love her if i cant find my desired life partner in her???? if i marry her i am feeling i have lost something in my life. Should i marry her or break the relationship? Please suggest me. what should i do??

I want to have an equal number of bridesmaids and groomsmen. My fiance is set on having 6 (ages 16-30); I currently only have 5.

My options are
1. picking between 2 close friends (I really dont want to do this)
2. asking my cousin (age 8) to be a junior bridesmaid, which would make my father very happy
3. having uneven groomsmen & bridesmaids (I really dont want to do this because I want groomsmen to escort bridesmaids down the aisle)

If I ask my cousin to be a junior bridesmaid, who would she walk down the aisle with?
the youngest groomsman who is 16 but rather shy?; or my brother who is 6'4, but related?

Would it be weird to have such a young girl (who is gorgeous and very mature for her age, but still only 5 foot tall) among such grown adults?

what should I do?

Good or bad idea? My fiance and i really want to get married, our wedding date is set for 06/29/08 but we aren't 100% sure we can afford a wedding and honeymoon by that time. Would it be a horrible idea to get married this may when we go to vegas then save up until we can afford a beautiful ceremony like we want. I am just scared our family's will be mad if we get married in vegas and not have our family there. ANy ideas or suggestions?

FH has 6 GM (ages 16, 19-31)
I have 5 BM (ages 19, 25-27)
we also have rb (7) & fg (3) - brother & sister.

I want to have an even number of bridesmaids & groomsmen, I want them to walk down the aisle together. Problem is...i have 2 friends who are equally close (age 25) and do not want to choose between them.
Also, I dont want to have more than 6...I would have rather had 5, but he wanted all of his brothers/step brothers/brother-in-laws to be in it.
Any way, I think it would make my dad very happy if I invited his neice (my cousin) to be a bridesmaid...but she is only 8 (5 foot tall). She is gorgeous, and very mature for her age...but she is still a young child.
Would it be wrong of me to ask the youngest groomsman (16) to walk her down the aisle? would that be too weird? what should I do!?
-Side note: I know its my wedding and I can do what I want...I just want to know what you think, Thanks!

sister, who is 28 and doesn't really like me - we think-or she's slightly upset that we're getting married as she's not married or in a relationship yet, to be our bridesmaid? If not a bridesmaid, something to do with co-ordinating but as her job during the week and at church is all to do with co-ordinating & organising, I think she'd probably feel more comfortable relaxing and not doing the same thing at her brothers wedding as she does at work!

It's really hard as she's always been slightly iffy with me/us and I just want a great relationship with my new sister-in-law! It's really hurtful for my boyfriend and I think it would mean a lot to him if she agreed. But how do I put it without her being offended?? It's either the co-ordinating thing or the bridesmaid thing... the other thing is that she'd probably have to pay for her own bridesmaid dress as I can't afford to pay for it as paying for my two little sisters (16 & 13) dresses...

Anyone else been in this situation?!!

All of my family live in PA, while his family lives in TX, where we currently live. My family is large, his family is small. Which is the fair route, to have all of my family come to Texas or to have his family travel to PA? So far eloping seems like the only answer.

I have a friend who got officially married a couple years ago, but it was city hall type marriage. Now she is having a big wedding, but they got *surprise* pregnant before hand. They plan on still having the wedding, but she will be around 7-8 months when she has the big shabang. Maybe I am just old fashioned, but I personally find it would be a little weird to have a wedding when your pregnant, especially since there is certainly no need to hurry since you are already married. Am I old-fashioned because I don't think it is normal for there to be a big-bellied bride, or am I an average person on this matter?

i am sharing one of my problem with you all. Please help me.

i got engaged with a girl who is from our community. Now after around 8 months i am feeling that i dont like her.

we met only 5 to 7 times in this duration and we have only friendly relation. even i cant say friendly relation.

The main reason for my dislike to her is her personality. She have not attractive personality. And i can rate my self with good personality.

Her nature and attitude is i can say very good. I know that my future life with her will be good. but in my life i ever feel ke i have loose the girl with good personality. And it may lead me to big depression.

Now one another problem is that ke if i dont get married with her, then i have threat that i will hurt my and her parents. And i will feel bad if it will be happen.

I have told her to change her personality, but telling this many times she also felt bad for that. One big thing happen in this 8 months is she started love me. and i have very less love emotions toward her.

so please suggest me that how can i get my dream person?

should i break this engagement or should i continue and marry her.

but i dont want to loose my dream girl. at any cost i want my dream.

Why do engagement rings have to be diamonds these days? Mine isn't and I ADORE it, but I have even had one person say "Oh you must have been so disappointed when he gave you that!" I wasn't, and my ring is gorgeous, but I wondered why girls these days are so hung up on diamonds and the cost of the ring.
