Weddings - October 2006

My fiance and I rented a place for our wedding day. I am in Texas and the weather gets crazy. In December 10 2006 we don't know if it's going to be raining or not. It has a nice gazebo-porch area for the ceremony but what if it rains. We are looking out in alternatives for service in a church but since we want to get married on a Sunday churches can't help us. There is a church but it's like $400 to rent it, just the church alone. Can you give me some ideas or advices? I will appreciate it. Thank You

Prior to my getting engaged, she made comments about having to go to "another wedding"...like it was the worst thing ever. I wouldn't say that we are good friends but we are friendly and have spent time together outside of work. I've met her husband as well. I have a lot of friends that I work with, some are in the wedding and others are on the invite list. So, should I invite her? What's the right thing to do?

I am in a financial situation & my fiance & I just recently bought a new car together. We are going to have to pay for the wedding ourselves but now that we have a car to pay for we aren't going to have much extra money. I still want to enjoy my "wedding" and I want others involved as well.

Me and my fiance want to elope on a certain day, but the court doesnt do weddings on that day, can we ask the court to back date it to that day as long as its with in a reasonable time ?

ie. The courts only do weddings on the first wednesday of the month. But we want it dated a week before, just so we can have the date as an anniversary. Will they do it ?

My brother is going to walk me down the aisle. Not my dad. But there is always a father/daughter dance. But I'm going to dance with my brother, after all he did walk me. So what is a good song for brother and sister. Note: my dad was never in my life. Which is why my brother is doing it.

They havent registered anywhere and I don't know what to bring, I want to get something that will help them remember this day but I don't know what!! They are really young my cousin is 20 and the bride is 21 they she wants computer software and my cousin wants tools but I can't afford that. I don't know what they could need for the house, so I am trying to figure out what to get them I only have like 100.00 I can splurge. Her software is over that and tools WHAT TOOLS.....I am trying to play it out like I already have everything. I don't want to look like I put them off till the last minuet.
