I am getting married next April ('07) and my maid of honor seems horrified that I won't be providing entertainment for children, or childcare for children not attending the wedding. The venue we chose is an aquarium at the zoo with dolphins and touch tanks for kids. We are, however limited to 150 people maximum. We are inviting our nieces and nephews, but we don't have the space to include everyone's children.

What I don't understand is, why if I don't invite everyone's kids, that I have to provide childcare for them. Can't people arrange their own childcare? Why is it my responsibility on my wedding day? Please help!!

I'm getting married (civil) in the morning...by the time it gets done, it's lunch time... I'm having problems on where we (15 people) can have lunch at in New York City. I am trying to sell my wedding dress. I wore it once. The only thing with it is, one of the bustle loops got ripped. I am sure it is a 5 minute fix for anyone who knows how to sew. I, however, am not that person. It is a size 16 (I think) long, lace sleeves. It is a beautiful dress.

I would love some advise from non-professional (stupid) sources. I am a male doctor nearly 40 years old. I was very poor all my life until about 35 when i finaly became a physician. So poor I didnt have food all the time, no car, nearly homeless. I never got a girl because even though I am nice and average looking, my life was full of hardship. Anyhow, I have tried so hard and canot find any girl to date me. I am getting older, and most women my age are married, or have kids and are divorced (and have been "fixed"), or do not want any more children. You can forget me ever getting a younger girl (who wants an old fart).

I want a biological child of my own. No adoption, or some other mans child.

Does anyone have some advise for me? What would you do in my situation, or women what can you tell me?
