Hmm...depends on your theme and what the motiff is.
It would be nice if you donate the money for the wedding favors to a favorite charity and put the names of your guest as donors. or ur favorite chocolates placed in chinese takeout boxes and attach some favorite quotes or poems.

Teal and ivory are nice colors. Is your wedding on the beach? Those colors are very popular for a beach or pool themed wedding. Since you may be an outdoorsy type, but I don't know. How about some seeded wedding favors. They are priced low at jessicasfloralweddings.com You can choose any color, and personalize them with a note. Your guests plant seeded paper under a thin layer of soil and watch the flowers grow each year. You can have ivory/white with teal flecks in it if you would like. They are priced at only .59 each. Another choice is chocolate hersey kiss roses that are fully customizable by rose color, tag color, message, and ribbon color. Hope this helps and have a wonderful day on your wedding!!!!

Hershey Kiss Roses! They are so easy to make and you can get the instructions off the internet. I keep some laying around my office and 1 out of every 3 brides that come in request them right away. I give them the choice of making them thereselves, coming to my place with the female attendents and having a champange, and cake party and making them, or I can just make them. 9times out of 10 the champange party wins. I had the hershey kiss roses at my wedding. They are a big hit!

As others have suggested, the superb wedding ceremony favors are secure to eat. So seem to a pair of buttery shortbread or perhaps oatmeal raisin cookies in a sprint field or bag. or perhaps candy corn in little boxes -- or enormously spiced mixed nuts, popcorn ball. or perhaps chocolate dipped pretzel stick wrapped in tulle and tied with a ribbon.

I think a great wedding favor that people don't use very often is a burned CD with the songs that are your favorites. That is something that guest can use time and time again and it is really a great keepsake for you guys as well. Congrats!!

How about a program made like a fan, or just a chinese fan. Umm, you could do cd's with your wedding music. You could make and decorate cookies, or even give cookie cutters and a little note tied to it. Some people do candles

Since our wedding was outside and our theme was outdoors I went with 3.5 inch pots and to make them colorful painted the tops in the colors of the wedding. I then put colorful straw in each and a wildflower bulb in each pot (my flowers were wildflowers so I thought they could plant them and it would remind them of our wedding) I put tulle around them and attached the name and table number to each pot that way I killed two birds with one stone and saved money. They turned out nice and people liked them.

My wedding is in Spring 2007 and will be a garden ceremony with butterflies at theme. My favor is a Plantable Butterfly.

Try looking in the wedding section of www.orientaltradingcompany.com. I got my wedding favors from them and had a great experience.

My wedding idea was a shot glass with a little salt shaker and in the glass saying something cute like "a toast to 'our names'... " ok I just got blank... Ahhh I can't remember what I had in mind of writing but that has always been my idea!
