I bought MY dress on ebay and one of my more recent brides also bought HERS on ebay. BOTH are absolutely stunning.
I know people caution against it, but it you shop smart and carefully you can save alot of money that way.... and the dresses are NOT always "cheap" - inexpensive perhaps, but both of ours were well made and the seamstress we have for alterations said she hadnt seen one as well made in years.
Make sure you do it by measurements NOT by size, DO NOT buy from anyone with less than 500 feedbacks and 100% positive results.
P.S. Heiphy was the seller for my recent brides dress as well..... very highly recommended

EBay is great!! I have bought many things from it, my wedding dress? No. I went to a consignment shop. I would be worried about not trying the dress on before buying it. What if the style does not look good on you? The other women on here had some good experiences though. Good luck and congrats!!

It replaced into alluring...I recommend dazzling. no longer a ingredient incorrect with it in any respect. Lakhouse Bridal on Ebay. i offered a 2nd, much less formal gown additionally from yet another seller. An Oleg Cassini gown that got here from David's Bridal. I had considered it at David's and enjoyed it yet i presumed that $one thousand.00 replaced into to plenty to spend on a 2nd gown to run around the reception in. i found it on Ebay for $3 hundred.00. the girl who offered it basically did no longer like the colour as quickly as she have been given it homestead and in genuine lighting fixtures. She despatched me the receipt from David's and all. basically make particular this is a good seller. examine the small/fantastic print approximately transport expenses and return coverage if there is a few thing incorrect. And maximum of all degree degree degree, make particular this is gonna in fantastic condition you close up sufficient that it is altered to in fantastic condition completely.

I've never bought one off of ebay but I have tried to sell one. I think it's perfectly okay. Just make sure you use a seller that takes paypal so it's secure. And check on their seller rating and all of their comments. I have a dress that was never worn still with tags on it if you'd be interested in looking at some pics. Email me.

I bought my dress online and it was a wonderful experiance. It measures out everything to a "T". The website was: www.weddingdressonline.com
And the prices were fabulous! The dresses were very good quality, too. (Even for me, as a "big girl" it was completely fine. No worries! But they have ALL sizes)

Ebay is great for some things but I would not make such an important purchase without seeing the dress in person

I wouldn't suggest it. My aunt did and ended up paying over $700 for the dress and didn't even get to wear it because of complications from buying it offline brought her. Had she went and got alterations, it would have changed the dress completely....and broke her wallet.
I suggest going to a david's bridal and looking at the $99 gowns. I went to school for bridal consulting, worked at david's for 3 years, then just last monday went and purchased my gown from them. I was more than happy with it.
Good luck!

DON'T DO IT.................. The pictures are so much different. Once you get the dress you may not like it or it may not fit.
If you have time, shop around. It will be more fun doing that and trying on many different kinds of dresses.
Have fun planning your special day. I did and I wouldn't change a momnet of time I spent looking for the perfect dress for me.

I did and it was a great Experience
Seller was Heiphy
Here's a link to the store you will not be dissapointed http://stores.ebay.ca/Heiphy
I got my measurments done by a seamstress and then Contacted the seller and they sent me the dress in the size that I needed
Don't guess on your size Measuring is very important
Because you Do not want to get the wrong size!
But if you get a proffesional do take your measurments you should have no problem some buyers have sizing charts as well
How to Choose The Correct One?
We have sent more than 6,000 wedding dresses smoothly to our previous buyers in USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, Europe and more than 30 other countries. All buyers can clearly see that we have been a reliable and responsible seller in the past 5 years so you can buy with full confidence from us.
How Easy To Buy From Us?
Our 6,000 satisfied buyers worldwide clearly show that it is very easy and smooth to buy from us. You only need to follow these 2 simple steps:
(Step 1) Get the accurate bust, waist and skirt measurements of the bride;
(Step 2) Check the bust, waist and skirt measurements listed in our auction description and choose the one that fits the bride best.
There are many different size charts in your country and wedding dress sizes are different from normal size charts. So do NOT buy by size. The best way is to compare her accurate bust and waist measurements with the bust and waist measurements listed in our description to see which one is best for her. You can see our 6,000 happy brides worldwide have already tried on our quality wedding dresses in their weddings so you can be confident that the measurements listed here are 100% accurate. Still not sure which one to buy? Please email us her height, her accurate bust and waist measurements prior to bidding or buying.
How to adjust her bust and waist measurements easily? There are lots of common undergarments that can adjust her bust and waist measurements easily. Most brides do not put on the wedding dress directly. Instead, most brides first put on some undergarments to adjust their bust and waist measurements so that they can achieve a more beautiful body shape before putting on the wedding dress. (For example, those push-up undergarments and adjustable undergarments can adjust her bust and waist measurements easily.) Furthermore, vast majority of our wedding dresses have 4 inches of seam allowance. It means the bust and waist measurements of that wedding dress can be altered 4 inches bigger (2 inches on each side) and 4 to 6 inches smaller, about 3 inches smaller on each side. (In other words, if the wedding dress has seam allowance, the bust and waist measurements of that wedding dress can be altered bigger or smaller. If there is no seam allowance, it means the bust and waist measurements of that specific wedding dress cannot be altered bigger or smaller.)
It is very easy for any bride to adjust her height. Here is how: The skirt length of our wedding dresses is designed for the height of majority of ladies. Furthermore, you can see it is so easy for any bride to adjust her height by using any (or all) of these options: Option 1: The heels can easily add 1 to 4 inches to her height; (For example, flat-heels can add 1 inch while high-heels can add 4 inches to her height easily.) Option 2: Adjust the fullness of the skirt. (A full skirt means the length of the skirt is shorter; a less full skirt means the length of the skirt is longer etc.) Option 3: Shortening the end of the hem (i.e. the front skirt) easily if the end of the hem is plain (no beading, no pattern etc.) or shortening the inner conjunction where the bodice and hip sections join. Normally you do not need Option 3 because Option 1 and Option 2 can let you adjust her height from 1 inch to 6 inches easily. Now you can see almost every part of our wedding dresses can be adjusted or altered. Buying from us is very easy and smooth. Our 6,000 satisfied buyers worldwide have proved everything for you.
That is a message that the seller sent me
so Decide for yourself but I saved my self at least 500.00 or more!!!
